The Beast Is Alive

The Desktop computer is back up and operational. After months of it sitting here collecting dust and many BSD, it has finally been brought back to life and it's running perfect. Here are the following specs:

Mainboard :         Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
Chipset :                 AMD 880G
Processor :         AMD Phenom II X6 1075T @ 2800MHz
Physical Memory :         10240MB DDR3-SDRAM
Video Card :         AMD HD 6870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 (x2 CrossFireX)
Hard Disk :         Corsair Performance3 SSD ATA Device (128GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST BD-RE  WH08LS20
Monitor Type :         ViewSonic VX2250 SERIES - 22 inches (x2)
Network Card : Ralink Technology RT2860 802.11n Wireless LAN Card
Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
Operating System :         Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
DirectX :                 Version 11.00
Case:                                XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish 1.0 mm SECC Chassis ATX Full Tower

With the SSD HDD running on top performance, a 6 core cpu @ 2.8GHz and 10GB of DD3 RAM, the boot time into Windows 7 x64 is about 10 sec. You hit the power button and once it's past the bios, boom, you're on the desktop already watching porn. A great setup for just around $1100. Anything like this build bought in a retail store would be well close to $3000 + all the warranty crap they try and sell you.

If you need an amazing game rig built, hit me up and I'd be more than happy to help pick out the parts needed and guide you through the many different setups one can have. It's the beauty of building rather then pre-built retail priced Desktops.

Teh Server

Teh Server is back up and running! Now to setup up all the SSH and other web apps via the command line. Yay for Putty!

Open Source

Since the birth of computers, the capitalistic ideals of man and America have led many people to become some of the most powerful and richest people to walk this earth. Computers virtually control EVERY aspect of mankind now, if we did not have them, many would not only die but the whole system would come crushing down. They are the greatest invention to have ever been born. They have allowed for us to create many new inventions that have saved lives, cured diseases, build stronger cars, buildings, etc..BUT they have also allowed for the further development of weapons that kill more people then any natural disaster and or disease. Computers are the gift of life but also the cancer that is slowly consuming us all.

I type these words on a computer that I spent my own hard earned money on, and I type these words because it is the truth. I couldn't live a single day knowing that I couldn't have access to either a computer or the internet within a couple of minutes. They have that much control of humans today. One could also compare them to food. Without food we die, without computers we die, it's that simple.

Now back to the main point of the blog, many people think that have to spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars to have a operating System that allows for them toe browse the internet and or write up some letters. Little do they know, for the past many many years, people have created, upgraded and support a Open Source Operating System called "Linux". It not only is just as powerful as Windows or the Mac OS,but is in fact more secure then both. It can do EVERYTHING a Windows or Mac can do and even more. One of the greatest things about it also, is that it runs on virtually any computer. The processing power to allow for it to run smoothly is so minimal that a computer which has a hard time running Windows 98 can run the latest version of Linux without ANY issues.

So my point is, people need to now only be aware of the fact that you don't need to open your wallets to Microsoft or Apple, but rather setup and get comfortable with a Linux based Operating System. If you ever want to try it on a old computer to see how it works, I would be more then happy to assist you. Just visit my website:

Some People...

...need to be put in their spot. When these people think that they have all the power and can get away with whatever they want, it creates an issue. When others have to deal with the fear of getting in trouble, the one's who think they have all the power, just sit there and enjoy all the benefits of being all powerful and mighty. Little do they know that sometimes the smaller. less powerful people can actually work together and make things happen. With all the efforts combined and many well thought out plans, things can be done to the the "powerful" people that they would have never thought been able to happen. In the end, NEVER believe you are truly in a spot that make you all mighty, because the power of many far surpasses the power of just one.

Camping

The act of getting in a car, driving two hours out to the middle of no where, putting up a tent, building a camp fire, talking with friends and enjoying nature. Nothing beats that. Humans survived for thousands of years by "camping". I think more people need to go camping and enjoy it. None of this camper bullshit with A/C and a toilet, that's not camping, that's a hotel room on wheels. Tiffany's birthday camping adventure will be magical and full of excitement. Woot!

Retail

The life of selling highly over prices electronic goods to old people that have no idea wtf you're talking about. I mean, every 60+ year old person needs a 1000GB external hdd to store there 20 pictures of grandkids on... And on top of it, they really need to get the extended warranty just in case they travel with it and it some how magically breaks. Retail is fun! AND it helps the community. Taking care of business!

And Look...

All the religious retards were wrong once again! Who the fuck would have thought?! I mean I was SO convinced that I was going to die and/or see Jesus Christ my Lord and savior last night at 6:00PM, but to my great sadness, NOTHING happened. I wonder when I will get to finally meet him... One day...

The New Era

So many different programming languages. It creates such a diverse and powerful society among computers. With all the different tools working together some really interesting and mind blowing websites and programs have been written. Just look at a simple program such as the Calculator and then compare it to a whole entire  Operating System such as Windows 7. The amount of coding it takes to develop something of that magnitude, blows my mind. The countless hours, days, weeks and years it took to create something that more then 90% of the world depends on, is crazy.

In the modern world there is not a single thing that is either directly controlled or created by the help of a computer. It is the current heart/brain of the world and will only continue to grow and become more powerful. It is arguably the greatest invention man has ever created. Although many arguments can be made against its destructive power, no one can say that it has done more good then bad for humankind. It will someday create the perfect society that is free of racism, sexism and overall hate. It will unite all of mankind for better. It just takes time.

For as long as there are computers around, mankind will not only be better off but the world will be able to evolve to the next great era.

Death to religion, for the digital age is my God.

Drifting Away

As the hours go by, the night seems so long. My eyes slowly begin to closes ever so slightly, and I begin to slip into the peaceful coma called sleep. As much as the body wants it, I resist it with every ounce of  energy left. I must stay awake and keep my mind focused on something. To many things to do before I go to bed at 12:20AM...

Let's see how much longer I can keep this up before I really completely pass out. Long live the internetz!
