2045: The Year Man Becomes Immortal

I read an article in the Time that by 2045 that the computing power of the computers in the world will surpass the power of the entire population of the worlds human brain power. Dont forget that the human brain is a very powerful device when all of it is accessed. Once the level of AI (Artificial Intelligence) is at the level which it surpasses that of humans, what will "they", the computers, think of? Will "they" invent the next super weapon that can kill all of mankind? Will "they" build a even smarter super computer? Or will "they" sympathize for us humans and help us advance medical technology? Only time will tell, and I can't wait to witness it.
