The Beast Is Alive

The Desktop computer is back up and operational. After months of it sitting here collecting dust and many BSD, it has finally been brought back to life and it's running perfect. Here are the following specs:

Mainboard :         Asus M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3
Chipset :                 AMD 880G
Processor :         AMD Phenom II X6 1075T @ 2800MHz
Physical Memory :         10240MB DDR3-SDRAM
Video Card :         AMD HD 6870 1GB 256-bit DDR5 (x2 CrossFireX)
Hard Disk :         Corsair Performance3 SSD ATA Device (128GB)
DVD-Rom Drive : HL-DT-ST BD-RE  WH08LS20
Monitor Type :         ViewSonic VX2250 SERIES - 22 inches (x2)
Network Card : Ralink Technology RT2860 802.11n Wireless LAN Card
Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8168/8111 PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
Operating System :         Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit)
DirectX :                 Version 11.00
Case:                                XCLIO Windtunnel Fully Black Finish 1.0 mm SECC Chassis ATX Full Tower

With the SSD HDD running on top performance, a 6 core cpu @ 2.8GHz and 10GB of DD3 RAM, the boot time into Windows 7 x64 is about 10 sec. You hit the power button and once it's past the bios, boom, you're on the desktop already watching porn. A great setup for just around $1100. Anything like this build bought in a retail store would be well close to $3000 + all the warranty crap they try and sell you.

If you need an amazing game rig built, hit me up and I'd be more than happy to help pick out the parts needed and guide you through the many different setups one can have. It's the beauty of building rather then pre-built retail priced Desktops.
